Cuti MariA CORNER OF PARADISE IN THE NATURAL OASIS OF ALIMINI LAKES
‘Cuti Mari’ offers a holiday of Nature and Relaxation in a modern Masseria ( typical Salento farm) in the protected natural Oasis of Alimini Lakes, a natural reserve surrounded by Aleppo pine trees and Mediterranean maquis gently stretching as far as the Alimini beach.
We are about 3 km from the sea and 7 km from Otranto. We work with several local companies that organize boat trips, horse riding, biking tours, guided tours in the historic centre of Otranto and in the hinterland of Salento.
Immersed in the tranquillity of the Alimini Park, Cuti Mari is managed by Manuela and Fabio.
It’s the ideal place for anyone who wants to relax and live an authentic experience with the nature, colours and light of Salento, discovering the beauty of Alimini Lakes and the magnificent beach of ‘Baia dei Turchi’ ( Turkish Bay).
The resort has a swimming-pool, a solarium and a running itinerary inside the property.
On request bikes and mountain-bikes can be rented to explore the cycling itineraries near the Alimini Lakes and in Salento.
The nearby numerous riding centres offer beautiful horse-riding promenades around Alimini Lakes and in other areas near Otranto.
«I seldom write reviews, but Cuti Mari really deserves one. It is a magical place and extremely well-kept by its owners and all the staff. We stayed in an annex, at almost thirty metres from the main building in the vast property, equipped with all the necessary facilities and a comfotrable outdoor pergola where one can dine and relax. The large infinity swimmig-pool guarantees a cool spot on the warmest days, when you don’t want to be at the sea all day. The sweet or savoury breakfast is very varied; it is made of local products and Manuela prepares at least one cake each day. And last but not least, they have now started to organize typical Salento dinners for the guests which we had the luck to appreciate. We hope to come back soon!»
«Cuti Mari is a hidden gem close to the Otranto city center yet immersed in nature. My husband, our two daughters, and I enjoyed 5 nights and wish we would have stayed longer. Our apartment was very clean and comfortable, with beautiful outdoor seating under the pergola. We had the most relaxing vacation thanks to the Cuti Mari team, who are knowledgeable and always readily available with recommendations. We will miss the homemade pastries and fascinating chats with Fabio, the owner, but look forward to our next visit!»
