At 1km from the Agriturismo Cuti Mari<\/em> there is one of the most characteristic riding centres in Puglia: the crossing of the lake on horseback is an unforgettable experience.<\/p>\n The experience is organized in small groups maximum of four people. Lucio Cetra<\/em>, owner of the riding centre, has been riding instructor<\/strong> since 1969 and received his preparation at the first training school conceived and created for Italy by the French company ClubMed.<\/p>\n The horse-riding excursions last approximately one hour and are always accompanied by a guide.The itineraries can follow different routes in the typical landscape of Salento: vast expanses of olive-groves<\/em>, fig trees<\/em>, oaks<\/em>, mulberry trees<\/em>, dry-stone walls<\/em>, pajare<\/em> and masserie<\/em> in which dominates Mediterranean scrub<\/strong>. If the weather conditions allow, it is possible to ride along the lake Alimini Grande and cross it, as its water is shallow. It is an easy itinerary, created for beginners.The rider must be familiar with horses, feeling at ease on the saddle and in open spaces as well as being able to manage the horse at walking pace.
The riding centre supplies riding-boots and riding hats and comfortable clothes are recommended.<\/p>\n
